Get a front row seat for the first joint American Academy of Pediatrics/The Obesity Society (AAP/TOS) symposium on the brand new AAP Obesity Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) for children and adolescents with obesity! In this action-packed premiere, you’ll learn the backstory and meet a few of the cast of brave characters who climbed the mountains of evidence and faced the valley of the pandemic to create the first set of comprehensive evaluation and treatment recommendations for the treatment of children and adolescents with obesity in 14 years! Come explore the jungle of etiologies and wade through the rivers of comorbidities that characterize the chronic disease of obesity which affects 20% of US youth. You will emerge with child-centered treatment strategies to implement and share with colleagues as you face your next adventures.
