Description: Food production is a key contributor to climate change, accounting for approximately a third of total human-caused greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, poor dietary quality accounts for 1 in 5 deaths in the US. Traditionally, policies have addressed the twin problems separately, but new research suggests that both can be addressed simultaneously, yielding health and environmental win-wins.
